Lee DeWyze Putting “Heart & Soul” Into New Music

Lee DeWyze has told fans that he is putting his “heart and soul” into his new music.
The season nine American Idol winner is working on a follow-up to his debut offering Live It Up, which was released in November 2010 and included the single ‘Sweet Serendipity’.
DeWyze wrote on Twitter: “Can’t wait for you to hear what it sounds like when Folk, Rock, Pop and Country make love. 
“I listened to all of my music I have for this next album so far. I’ve never been more excited. I hope you are too, putting my heart and soul into this. Thank you all so much for your support throughout this crazy process.”
DeWyze previously told Chicago’s Red Eye: “This album will be much different than the last album as far as creative control on it. I definitely have been able to write the songs I want to write and take my time on it.”
The singer embarked on his first headline tour of the US last year, later describing the experience as “one of the best times” of his life.
DeWyze became engaged to model/actress girlfriend Jonna Walsh in July 2010.
